Angel Daniel Soto

Angel Daniel Soto, 83 of South Daytona, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.  He was born on July 21, 1936 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Jose D. Soto and Maria Ramos.  He worked in the Textile Industry as a Salesman.  Angel was a blessed, joyful, serving, caring and loving man.  He was always smiling and was passionate about Puerto Rico.  He enjoyed collecting coins, antiques, playing dominos, wearing Puerto Rico baseball caps and also loved animals.  He was always passionate to help immigrants and the less fortunate. Angel was an amazing story teller.  He had a serving heart and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He worked hard, never complained and was the provider for his family. 


Angel was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Francisca Lleras Soto. He is survived by his children: Ana Soto-Fowler, Angel Soto, Jr., Frances Aguilar and Mavel Torrez,  16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


A Gathering of Family and Friends with Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10am with a Funeral Service at 11am at Trinity Church 875 Elkcam Blvd. Deltona, Florida 32725. Pastor Jamie will be officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery 1031 S. Carpenter Avenue Orange City, Florida 32763.
