Bonnie Lou Mosier (Hotaling)
Bonnie was born November 8th, 1942 in Voorheesville, NY. Her warm, small town upbringing with 3 brothers and 2 sisters were filled with friendships, love, family and faith. She attended college in Brockport, NY and became a teacher there. She was a natural teacher working wonders with all ages. In 1966 she married Clark Mosier and raised three children in Delaware. She continued teaching and earning a Masters degree in education. In 1990 Bonnie and Clark moved to Naples Florida to help with Clark’s mother. Bonnie took a 2-year life changing teaching position in Immokolee, Florida working with the students in the migrant farm community then teaching 4 years in Naples. In 1996, another move came when an offer was presented from the Independence school to be a chairman of the lower wing in Delaware. They eventually retired 2005 in The Villages where they resided for 14 years until moving to DeBary Golf and Country Club in 2019 with their daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Clark of 54 years, sister Edith Zeh, 3 children Brian (Mary), Terri (Rob), Scott (Tara) and 7 grandchildren.

Through her life, Bonnie’s endless compassion, faith and love for her family and friends was a model to follow. Her infectious smile and beautiful spirit will be cherished and missed but never forgotten.

Thank you for showing us the way. Always in our hearts.
