Dorothy Lee Hepburn

Dorothy Lee Hepburn was born July 15, 1947 in Statesboro, Georgia to the Late John David Hall and Mary Ann Hall. She was one of five siblings- all presently living, her sisters Sarah Shaw and Mercil Lewis, brothers Lucious Hall and Lashon Hall.  At 10 years of age, her family moved to Orlando, Florida where she attended Mt. Olive AME Church and worked in the youth department.  She also attended Callahan Elementary and Jones High School.  She met her husband, Samuel and married October 12, 1969. 

Dorothy was a member of various clubs and organizations. She attended City College of Chicago for Business Math and also attended Computer Programming in Oxford, England.  She worked as an apprentice at Hill-Donnelly Inc. in Tampa, Florida for 12 years before moving back to the Central Florida area in 1988.  Over the last two decades she served as a Campus Advisor at Galaxy Middle School, until retirement. 

She leaves to cherish precious and loving memories of her to her sons, Leyon and Stephen, her daughters Aaditee and Walesca, and to her grandchildren Jamal, Arianna, Alana, Stephanie, Michael as well as devoted friends.


As a servant of God, well done.


A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11am with a Funeral Service at 12pm at River City Church 267 East Highbanks Road DeBary, Florida 32713.
