Franklyn W. Miller, Sr., 78 of Deltona, Florida passed away on Tuesday May 30, 2017.  He was born on November 8, 1938 in Baldwin, New York to Franklyn B. Miller and Gertrude M. Smith.  He moved from New York to Florida in 1993. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service.  He was a deacon in the church, a member of the CCC Mens Group in Deltona, FL and was 42 years sober in AA. He was an amazing handyman and loved the outdoors, nature, wildlife and birds. He loved reading his Bible. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is survived by his daughter Edna Brown of Baldwin, NY, his son Franklyn W. Miller, Jr. of DeLand, FL and his daughter Tami Love of Newburgh, NY. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

​A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 10am with a Memorial Service at 11am at Cornerstone Christian Church 2813 Howland Blvd. Deltona, Florida 32725.  Rev. Kevin Key will be officiating.
