Geneva N. New, 91 of DeBary, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.  She was born on April 12, 1925 in Burney, Indiana. She loved interior decorating as a hobby, loved collecting cookbooks , and loved boating and camping.  She also had a stylish way of fashion and loved to shop.  She was an executive secretary at Martin Marietta until she and her husband bought WinterLand Cleaners in Winter Park, FL, owners for over 25 years.  She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father Frank and Hazel Oliphant, her sisters' Lucile Simmons and Mary Ellen Lovely and her daughter Carole Smith. She is survived by her husband Everett of almost 73 years of marriage.  She is also survived by 3 daughters, Marla Meier, Terri Joyce and Janet Wilson, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Everyone that knew her, knew that she loved to laugh, was a wonderful wife and was a gentle and loving mother.  She is now in His kingdom, in his loving arms forever and will be truly be missed by all. 


​A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:30 am with a service starting at 11:00 am at CrossLife Church 45 West Broadway Street, Oviedo, Florida  32765.  Following the service, burial will take place at the Oviedo Cemetery.
