Kerry Lynn Thomas
Kerry Lynn Thomas, 53, of Sanford, Florida, passed away after a courageous battle with metastatic lung cancer on Monday, May 31, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1968 in Youngstown, Ohio to William M. Thomas Jr. and Kathleen A. Dunn. Kerry graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1986. She supported the family lumber business as a bookkeeper since high school and was most recently an Administrative Supervisor for Custom Panels, Inc.
Kerry was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians. She was a collector of vintage memorabilia and had an affinity for old television shows and Old Hollywood. She lived her life in the spirit of her favorite song, Frank Sinatra’s My Way. Her kindness, loyalty, and unique style will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother Kathleen (Dunn) Hoffman of DeLand, Florida; stepmother Carla Thomas of Poland, Ohio; siblings Kelly (Robin) Kempf of Hudson, Ohio, Melissa (Brad) Zreny of Lakewood, Ohio, William M. (Kayla) Thomas III of Charleston, South Carolina, Harry D. Hoffman of Tacoma, Washington, Tracey Hoffman of East Palestine, Ohio; nieces and nephews Morgan, MacCormick and Grace Kempf and Harry Chase, Alexandra, MacKenzie and Harrison Hoffman; many beloved cousins, aunts and uncles. Kerry was preceded in death by her father William M. Thomas Jr. and stepfather Harry O. Hoffman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Kerry's honor to Advent Health Hospice Care.
