Lester Maynard Veino, Jr


​Lester Maynard Veino, Jr., 74, went home to the Lord at his home in DeBary, Florida on May 17, 2017.  He is survived by his loving devoted wife, AsaLee Adkins Veino of DeBary, FL, his daughters Anita Veino Jones of Deltona, FL, Tina (Angel) Veino Dejesus of Osteen, FL, Tammy Veino Rombold of North Carolina, his grandchildren Cheyenne Veino, Heather and Miranda Jenkins, Crystal and Amy Keitt, Grace Veino, Reagan & Trevor Rombold as well as great grandchildren CJ Ryan Gailbreath, Angel Dejesus and Caleb Murray.

​Mr. Veino was born on July 9, 1942 in Osteen, Florida to the late Lester Sr. and Annie Veino. He was the youngest of three siblings, Iva Veino Carpenter of New Mexico and the late Darlene Veino Wilson of Osteen, FL.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family. He loved hunting, fishing, shrimping, camping and all other activities as well as watching NASCAR.

​He retired from Volusia County in 1995, he worked for Volusia County Road and Bridge from 1965 to approximately 1985 then worked at Volusia County Land Field in Daytona until 1995 when he retired.

​A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 27, 2017 at 1pm at Traders Cove Estates Club House 132 Sher Lane DeBary, Florida 32713.

​In Lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to Halifax Health Hospice.
