Mary Ellen Massey

Mary Ellen Massey, 64, of Debary, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Florida. She was born May 24th, 1955 in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of John Richard and Mary Maxine King. Mary worked as a Controller for car dealerships in both Missouri and Florida for 35 years after graduating from Monroe City High School. She was greatly respected by her colleagues and was celebrated when she retired in 2018.

She married the love of her life, Clarence Ray Massey August 4th, 1982 at Boone County Courthouse and he survives in memory of her at their home in Debary, Florida. Mary lived for her family and was best known for her graciousness, selflessness, and unconditional love. Anyone’s life that she touched knew she would be there for them and do whatever was needed. The only thing she ever wanted in return was love.

Also, surviving her is one son, James Massey (Sherry) of Forks Township, Pennsylvania along with her most treasured granddaughters Kennedy Massey, Jamie Massey, and Brooklyn Massey. Also, surviving are her two brothers John King (Carolyn) and Harry King (Donna) along with her three sisters Jo Ann Schlender (Dave), Bettie Lorenson, and Karen O’Cheltree (Tony), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeding her death are both of her parents.
